Mercedes Unveils 'Generation EQ' Electric Concept
Mercedes-Benz has a shiny new electric vehicle concept, dubbed Generation EQ, that boasts twin electric motors, which engages a zero-emission drive-train technology, and a range of up to 311 miles.
The 'monolithic basic grade' of the vehicle, unveiled at the Paris Motorcar Show, "unites the genes of an SUV with the dynamic character of a coupe," the company said, highlighting concealed windshield wipers, cameras instead of outside mirrors, and a puzzling absence of conventional door handles.
"Its fascination lies in a reinterpretation of our pattern philosophy of sensual purity, the aim being to create an avant-garde, contemporary and distinctive electro-look," Wagener explained. "At the aforementioned time, the blueprint of the visionary show car, which has been reduced to the essentials, reveals an attracting progressivity."
Inside the 'driver-oriented cockpit', as shown above, is a 24in widescreen Hd brandish that presents relevant information like speed, range, driving data, navigation, and map details. The interior's just switches or knobs come up in the class of electric seat adjusters; door openers and electrical window lifters are bear upon-controlled.
Equally you walk toward the car, information technology will automatically adjust to a specific 'welcome' color scheme, Mercedes revealed.
